Regan was not planning to become a TV or journalist in her university and high school years. She was passionate about music, and dreamed about becoming an operatic singer. She studied music at several reputed institutes. Her career started by working for an investment firm. Then she was hired by CBS MarketWatch. Regan was an CBS Evening News business correspondent. Regan went on to work with CNBC as host of a daily business show. Additionally, she made documentary films. The show was a recipient of the Emmy Award in the Best Documentary category while at CNBC. Regan was briefly with Bloomberg Television. Regan hosts a popular program on the Fox News Channel. Regan is also an executive reporter for the channel. Regan was awarded numerous honors and awards for the integrity of her reporting. She's also come under harsh criticism over controversial comments she made about different political issues.
